Arrests

March 7

11:47 p.m.: Lucas Martin Emerick, 43, was arrested after officers were dispatched to McDonald's, 3101 West Broadway Blvd, for a disturbance. The suspects left the area but one was located as they pulled into Motel 6. Emerick was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of DWI - aggravated offender.

March 12

12:46 p.m.: Jairo Jose Funez, 21, was arrested after a vehicle stop near 10th Street and Ohio Avenue for expired registration. Funez was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of driving while suspended, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and an outstanding failure to appear warrant.

March 14

12:02 a.m.: Rashaud Thomas Staten, 27, was arrested after a vehicle stop for excessively dark window tint near East Sixth Street and South Engineer Avenue. He had a suspended license and was transported to the police department and issued a uniform traffic ticket for driving while suspended.

Incidents

March 10

2:31 a.m.: Officers responded to the 200 block of West Second Street in reference to a hit-and-run accident. They spoke with the reporting party and collected information needed to complete a report.

March 13

9:32 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Ohio Avenue for a theft report. The victim reported her front registration was stolen.

12:57 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Brentwood Avenue for a reported domestic assault. A 12-hour log was generated.

4:16 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of East 11th Street for a reported domestic assault. A 12-hour log was completed on the incident.

7:21 p.m.: An officer spoke with a victim in the lobby of the police department who reported a burglary at his residence in the 600 block of East 10th Street. The victim reported multiple firearms stolen.

8:52 p.m.:Officers responded to the 2200 block of South Missouri Avenue in reference to harassment. The victim said the suspect kept driving by her place of employment yelling obscenities. No contact has been made with the suspect, but charges are being submitted.

Arrests

March 13

10:25 p.m.: Jose Fernandez, 63, of Sweet Springs was arrested after deputies located a vehicle traveling through La Monte on US 50 at 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fernandez continued east at a high rate of speed while failing to maintain a lane, almost striking another motorist. Eventually he was pulled over and after investigation the intoxicated driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of assault fourth-degree special victim and DWI.

Incidents

March 9

142 p.m.: Deputies took a report for property damage and trespassing that occurred in the 19000 block of Rt. B in Pettis County. The investigation continues.

March 13

5:50 a.m.: Deputy stick report of a minor motor vehicle crash at US 50 and Front Street in Pettis County. The vehicle was struck by a deer and sustained severe damage. The driver and occupant did not have any injuries.

6:00 p.m.: Deputies took a report for a theft of items in the 23000 block of Rt. B. The investigation continues.

March 13

3:29 p.m.: Michael A. Fillicetti, 42, of Sedalia was arrested in Pettis County for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
