Arrests

May 7

12:58 p.m.: Lashawn Stewart, 29, was arrested after a traffic stop at the intersection of 16th Street and New York Avenue on a vehicle being operated by a driver with a suspended driver's license. The driver was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with citations for no proof of insurance and driving without a license. 

May 8

6:54 p.m.: Grant Curtis Warner, 40, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of East 16th Street in reference to a dog running at large and being aggressive to people. After receiving more than one call about the same dog, it was located, the owner was contacted and issued a summons. 

9:04 p.m.: Ashley A. Paris, 35, was arrested after officers conducted a vehicle stop at West 11th Street and South Grand Avenue. Paris was intoxicated and was transported to the police department and released with a municipal citation for DWI. 

9:28 p.m.: Hezekiah Lil Nora Montgomery, 20, was arrested after a vehicle stop near East Second Street and South Ohio Avenue. The driver had a suspended license and was released with a summons. 

10:04 p.m.: Josef W. Black, 26, was arrested after an officer responded to the 200 block of East Boonville Road for an attempted burglary and disturbance. The reporting party had detained the suspect already and Black was transported to the Pettis County Jail. 

May 9

12:14 a.m.: David Mitchell Repinetsky, 35, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East 28th Street in reference to a shots fired call. Witnesses reported a man had fired multiple rounds into the ground outside near his vehicle outside of his residence. They were able to make contact with the suspect who admitted to discharging the pistol. The pistol was seized and the suspect issued a summons. 

1:55 p.m.: Leonardo Rafa Sanchez Sanchez, 52, was arrested after a traffic stop on a vehicle observed speeding and failing to maintain the right half of the roadway near East 24th Street and Bristol Lane. The driver was intoxicated and resisted arrest. A request for charges of DWI, resisting arrest and operating a vehicle without a license have been submitted to the prosecutor. 

Incidents

May 7

1:24 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of South Kentucky Avenue in reference to drugs found on the ground. The drugs were entered into evidence for destruction. 

7:52 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of North Ohio Avenue for a found property report. They collected the item and placed it into evidence for safekeeping. 

May 8

1:53 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sixth Street and Wagner Avenue for a reported hit-and-run collision.

Incidents

May 8

8:45 a.m.: Don's Towing towed an abandoned 2012 Audi A6 from the 4600 block of South Limit Avenue.

May 8

6:57 p.m.: Larry B. Stafford, 44, of Kansas City, KS was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was released.
