12:23 p.m.: While police were controlling traffic due to an injury crash in the 3800 block of East Broadway Blvd, they attempted to stop a suspect who was not obeying the officer’s directions. The officer observed the suspect was utilizing his cell phone to record the accident scene while operating the motor vehicle in violation of the Siddens-Benning hands-free law. The case is being submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor for review.
10:23 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a reported dog bite in the 700 block of East Ninth Street. They gathered information and created a report.

10:00 a.m.: Pettis County deputies attempted a traffic stop on a green Honda for a registration violation on East 17th Street. The driver, identified as Ezra Cohen, fled deputies and ended up running on foot a short time later. The vehicle was confirmed as stolen out of Sedalia and charges are being submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office.

11:15 p.m. Dustin W. Smith, 21, of Oak Grove was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated with a person under 17 in the vehicle, a misdemeanor Oak Grove warrant, exceeding the speed limit by 26 miles per hour or more, failure to display motor vehicle plate with rear license plate lamp, no motor vehicle plate and felony endangering the welfare of a child. He was transported to the Johnson County Detention Center.
