8:25 p.m.: Officers responded to the 400 block of West 11th Street for a report of a suicidal subject armed with a handgun. While on scene the subject sustained injury from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was immediately treated and transported by Pettis County ambulance District to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for further treatment.
May 28
8:04 p.m.: Officers responded to the 300 block of North Stewart Avenue for a reported animal bite. The victim was bitten by a stray dog and got medical attention at Bothwell Regional Health Center. A report was made of the incident.
