Arrests

Oct. 25

8:53 p.m.: Maxwell C. Griffin, 20, of the 2400 block of West 11th Street was arrested after a vehicle stop near East Broadway Boulevard and South Massachusetts Avenue for following too closely. Griffin was intoxicated by drugs and was arrested, booked and released on scene with a State charge of DWI drugs.

Oct 26

4:22 a.m.: Kari Lee Buttner, 49, was arrested after law enforcement contacted the driver of a truck near South Osage Avenue and West 16th Street for expired plates. Buttner was intoxicated and was booked and released on a State charge of DWI drugs.

6:04 p.m.: Leah Vaughn Ferolito, 40, was arrested after police responded to the 3500 block of Green Ridge Road for a shooting. Farolito was impaired by alcohol and/or drugs and possessed a firearm, which she pointed at one person and shot at another person.

No one was injured and Farolito was taken into custody without incident pending charges of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, DWI - alcohol persistent offender, driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest, unlawful discharge of a firearm, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and second-degree kidnapping.

10:43 p.m.: Amber Nicole Flores, of the 23000 block of Smasal Road was arrested after officers were dispatched to Two P’s Place Bar, 815 East Broadway Blvd. for a noise complaint. Flores started a fight in the bar and was escorted outside and continued to attempt to assault citizens. When officers attempted to take her to custody, she resisted and was placed on a 12-hour hold for intoxication.

Oct. 27

1:34 a.m.: Braulio Jesus Apolinar, 20, of the 600 block of North Quincy Avenue was arrested after fleeing a motor vehicle accident at East Broadway Boulevard and South Lamine Avenue. he was intoxicated, under the age of 21 and had no driver's license.

Apolinar was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked on a 24-hour hold pending state charges of DWI, driving without a license, minor in possession by consumption and felony leaving the scene of a crash.

3:33 a.m.: Sophia G. Poteet, 18, of the 8100 block of Cricket Lane was arrested after being observed westbound on 16th Street approaching South Carr Avenue nearly hitting a parked car. A vehicle stop near McDonald's found the driver intoxicated and a minor. Poteet was transported to the police department, processed and released to a sober person with a summons for DWI and minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

8:14 p.m.: Joseph Elmer Fore, 42, was arrested near East Broadway Boulevard and South Hancock Avenue for a peace disturbance and safekeeping due to intoxication. He was placed on a 24-hour hold.

Oct. 25

7:51 a.m.: Officers responded to Menards, 4400 Wisconsin Ave. in regard to theft. They spoke with employees and gathered information for a report.

Oct. 26

10:30 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to Hubbard Park for a report of found property. They collected the property and attempted to determine the owner. A report was completed, the property will be held at the police department.

Oct. 27

4:09 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1700 block of East 16th Street regarding a theft. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

4:13 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the police department Lobby for a report of sexual misconduct. They gathered information and statements from the reporting parties and a report was completed.

10:30 p.m.: Officers responded to the Sedalia 66 gas station, 16th and Ohio Ave. for property damage to a vehicle that happened at Broadway and Grand Ave. Information was gathered for a report.

11:32 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Harrison Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance. The disturbance was resolved without an arrest.

Oct. 27

12:44 a.m.: A deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of Ball Road on a report of property damage. The victim said while he was in his residence someone broke his bedroom window.

Oct. 24

9:39 a.m.: Jarold D. Galloway, 68, of Excelsior Springs was arrested in Benton County for felony possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, a registration violation and no insurance. He was transported to the Benton County Sheriff's department and released.

4:35 p.m.: Zachary T. Johnson, 33, of Lebanon was arrested in Morgan County for driving while suspended - second offense and driving on the right half of the road resulting in an accident. He was released.

5:29 p.m.: Zachary R. Womack, 47, of Gilliam was arrested in Saline County for felony driving while intoxicated with a person less than 17 years old in the vehicle, felony child endangerment, failure to drive on the right half of the road and causing the crash, no insurance and no seat belt. He was transported to the Saline County Sheriff's department and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Oct. 25

3:16 p.m.: Tate M. Witzman, 19, of Rocky Mount was arrested in Morgan County for driving while suspended - first offense. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail and released.

Oct. 26

2:05 a.m.: Oleksandr Tsypan, 19, of Mora was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.

3:50 a.m.: Corbin M. Robinson, 22, of Marshall was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

10:15 p.m.: James L. Hedrick, 63, of Sedalia was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
