Osceola woman seriously injured in Benton County crash
An Osceola woman, 26, suffered serious injuries at 10:42 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2019 Ford Ecosport north on Missouri Route 83 at Mansfield Way when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock, overturned and struck a tree.
It is unknown if she was wearing a seat belt. She was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Lincoln man injured in Benton County collision
A Lincoln man, 40, suffered minor injuries at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2002 Ford E250 east on Missouri Route 7 at Carrs Park Avenue when a 2024 Ram 2500 ProMaster driven south by a Dawn man, 21, stopped at the stop sign then proceeded to cross the highway into the path of his vehicle. The Lincoln driver began to skid and impacted the Ram truck at an angle.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The injured man was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Warrensburg man hurt in Henry County accident
A Warrensburg man, 18, suffered minor injuries at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2002 Saturn Vue south on Missouri Route J when he traveled off the red side of the roadway to avoid a northbound vehicle approaching in the wrong lane.
He returned to the roadway then traveled off the left side of the road and struck a ditch. He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Golden Valley Ambulance District.
Two seriously injured in Johnson County crash
A Warrensburg woman, 86, suffered serious injuries and a Warrensburg man, 88, suffered serious injuries at 311 p.m. Friday Aug. 7, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the man was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban north on Missouri Route 13 at NW 625th Road when he crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, crossed NW 625th Road and struck a utility pole.
The injured were wearing seat belts, and were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
Jamestown man injured in Moniteau County mishap
A Jamestown man, 51, suffered moderate injuries at 3:47 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle north on Missouri Route 87 near Greenwood Drive when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia by Mid-MO Ambulance District.
Two hurt in Morgan County crash
A Stover man, 39, suffered minor injuries, and a Stover woman, 83, suffered minor injuries at 1:03 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado driven south on Ivy Bend Road by the Stover woman crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox driven north by the Stover man and was struck.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
