Pedestrian seriously injured in Warrensburg accident
A Kansas City woman, 21, suffered serious injuries at 6:57 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she crossed in front of and was struck by a 2020 Dodge Charger driven west on South Street, east of Washington Street Warrensburg by a Warrensburg man, 21.
The injured woman was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Chilhowee woman seriously injured in Johnson County wreck
A Chilhowee woman, 31, suffered serious injuries at 8:03 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion north on Route F when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected crossing the center of the road and traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and hit a pole.
She was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
