Sedalia woman seriously injured in Pettis County crash
An Alma woman, 69, suffered minor injuries and a Sedalia woman, 27, suffered serious injuries at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the Sedalia woman was driving a 2023 Jeep Cherokee driven east in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 50 and struck a westbound 2013 Chevrolet Suburban driven by the Alma woman. The Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway and came to rest facing north.
The Sedalia woman was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by MU Air Medical Services to University Hospital in Columbia.
The Alma woman was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
