A Windsor woman, 54, suffered serious injuries and a Knob Noster man, 32, suffered minor injuries at 6:11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Honda Santa Fe driven by the woman south on Missouri Route 23, south of Route Y, crossed the center of the roadway as a northbound 2010 Kentworth driven by the man also swerved towards the center of the roadway and they collided. The woman's vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
They were both wearing seat belts. The man sought his own treatment and the woman was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Johnson County Ambulance District.
