A Bellville, Illinois man, 83, drowned at 9:55 a.m. Oct. 31 in a Benton County accident. He reportedly fell into the water underneath a boat lift and though family members attempted to retrieve him, they were unable to exit the water and witnesses aided in retrieving both individuals. The man’s body was transported to the Benton County coroner's office.
A Kansas City woman, 29, suffered minor injuries at 8:12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla south on Missouri Route 7 near County ROad NW 501 when she struck a deer crossing the roadway.
She was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton.
A Warrensburg man, 46, suffered serious injuries at 5:55 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was walking east across Maguire Street at Gay Street and was struck by a 2020 Buick Encore driven north by a Warrensburg woman, 67.
He was transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
