Warsaw motorcyclist seriously injured in Benton County deer strike

A Warsaw man, 41, suffered serious injuries at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2019 Indian Motorcycle north on Missouri Route MM, just east of Johnson Drive, when he struck a deer in the roadway.

It is unknown if he was wearing a helmet, he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center in Independence.

Deepwater woman injured in Henry County accident

A Deepwater woman, 25, suffered moderate injuries at 10:23 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2011 Ford F-150 east on SE County Road 800, east of Missouri Route 13, when she crossed the center of the roadway, ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

She was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Golden Valley Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Teen hurt in Johnson County pile up

A Centerview girl, 16, suffered minor injuries at 4:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, AaFord Edge driven east on U.S. Highway 50 by an Oak Grove woman, 35, and a Ford F-150 driven by a Whitewamego, Kansas woman, 44, were stopped due to congestion when the Centerview teen failed to stop and struck the rear of the F-150 with her Nissan Altima, the F-150 then struck the rear of the Ford Edge.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, the injured teen was transported by personal conveyance to Urgent Care.

Sedalia woman injured in Pettis County crash

A Sedalia woman, 24, suffered moderate injuries at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Audi A4 driven by a 15-year-old boy from Sedalia east on Sacagawea Road pulled into the path of the Sedalia woman's 2021 Chevrolet Blazer, headed north on Missouri Route B, and was struck.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The injured woman was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Sedalia occupant hurt in Pettis County mishap

A Sedalia woman, 27, suffered minor injuries at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was in a 2017 Toyota Corolla driven by a Sedalia man, 27, east on U.S. Highway 50 at Missouri Route MM. They were stopped at a steady red signal when they were rear-ended by a 2017 Kia Rio driven by a Knob Noster woman, 62.

The injured woman was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by private conveyance to Bothwell.

Windsor man injured in Pettis County accident

A Windsor man, 52, suffered moderate injuries at 7:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2005 Ford F250 west on Route B, east of Oxline Road, when a deer entered his path. He swerved off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox and overturned.

He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Bothwell.
