A Whiteman AFB boy, 11, and a Whiteman AFB girl, 16, suffered minor injuries at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Volvo S60 driven south on Missouri Route 23 at Route D by the 16-year-old, pulled into the path of a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro driven west by a Warrensburg man, 28. The Volvo then struck the front of the Camaro which then skidded across the roadway and struck two highway signs.
The teens were both wearing seat belts, and were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
