Warrensburg teen in serious condition after being hit on bicycle
A Warrensburg boy, 15, suffered serious injuries at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he entered the roadway of northbound Business 13 near Meadow Lane and was struck by a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta driven north by a Whiteman Air Force Base man, 23.
The child was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City by Johnson County ambulance District.
Two transported after Pettis County crash
A Smithton man, 35, suffered serious injuries and a Smith and women, 39, suffered minor injuries at 12:29 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 22, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 1993 Ford Explorer north on Northwoods Road near Route HH when he lost control, ran off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
The injured were not wearing seat belts, and were transported to Bothwell Regional Medical Center by PCAD.
