Aug. 10
1:21 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of West Third Street in reference to a vehicle theft that occurred in the 400 block of Industrial Road.
Aug. 11
12:15 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of East Broadway for shoplifting. The suspect fled the scene before officer arrival. A description was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
8:04 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East 10th Street in reference to an assault. On arrival, officers spoke to both parties and gathered information. Due to circumstances, officers determined to complete a 12-hour log of the incident.
10:48 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of East Broadway in reference to found property. Some of the property was returned to the owners. Other pieces were entered into evidence as found property.
2:57 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a theft report that took place Aug. 10.

Arrests
Aug. 11: Trenton I. Gust, 22, of Holt Summit, was arrested in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated under the influence of drugs, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident and operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail and released.
