Sept. 16
5:21 p.m.: Jared L. Young was arrested in the 1800 block of West 11th Street after officers were dispatched in reference to a domestic dispute. He faces charges of simple domestic assault, and was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.
Incidents
Sept. 4
8 a.m.: The Sedalia Police Department was contacted by the Higginsville Police Department in reference to a theft that occurred in the 100 block of Rebar Road on Aug. 13. The victim reported meeting a subject to purchase equipment on Facebook Marketplace, and it was later discovered the equipment was stolen out of the Kansas City area. The case is under investigation.
Sept. 16
8:49 a.m.: Officers took the report of a found bike in the 700 block of East 12th Street.
8:52 a.m.: Officers took a report of a stolen motorcycle in the 1200 block of West 4th Street.
