The Sedalia Walmart Supercenter, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, is set to receive a remodel in 2026.
The company announced a remodel for the location and six other Missouri stores on Thursday, April 16. Walmart cited upgrades to modernize the in-store and digital shopping experience, including upgrades to technology and convenience services.
Sedalia’s remodel is set to be completed in October.
“Our remodeled stores are designed with both customers and associates in mind,” said Glenda Fleming Willis, Walmart Senior Vice President for the North Business Unit. “These upgrades across the state combine innovative technology, improved layouts and expanded services to deliver a better experience for everyone who walks through our doors or shops with us online.”
The upgrades are expected to bring free Pharmacy delivery for Walmart + members and a store-based app experience that assists customers throughout the store, including oil service booking and more.
“These efforts reflect Walmart’s commitment to supporting economic growth and strengthening communities statewide,” the company said in a release.
