The Ivory Grille & Oak Room Lounge earns 2026 Wine Spectator Restaurant Award

The Ivory Grille & Oak Room Lounge have been honored for its outstanding wine program in “Wine Spectator’s” 2026 Restaurant Awards, which celebrate the world’s best restaurants for wine.

“The restaurant industry is rapidly transforming as diners become more selective about when, how and what they drink. As wine drinkers grow more mindful, restaurants are adapting with creative wine programs,” said Marvin R. Shanken, Chairman and CEO, Wine Spectator. Launched in 1981, the Restaurant Awards recognize excellence in restaurant wine service across three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award, with 2,083, 1,830, and 99 winners this year in each respective category.

The Ivory Grille & Oak Room Lounge have won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. 

“We are honored that The Ivory Grille is one of a select number of restaurants in Missouri to be presented with this recognition,” said Erica Eisenmenger, owner of The Ivory Grille.  As an Award of Excellence Winner, the Ivory Grille is recognized as a restaurant whose wine list offers at least 75 selections and feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Offering over 100 varieties of wine, with a domestic focus in both wine and menu variety, the Ivory Grill Restaurant invites you to “meet me at the Grille” to find your new favorite!

The Ivory Grille and Oak Room lounge are located in historic downtown Sedalia, Missouri inside the Hotel Bothwell. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, with the lounge opening at 4:30pm and the dining room from 5p-9p. www.theivorygrille.com
