Tinney selected to serve as MLDS practitioner/facilitator

The Missouri Leadership Development Specialists (MDLS) of the Central Region Professional Development Center located at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, has selected Cole Camp R-1 High School Principal, Lindsey Tinney, to serve as a Practitioner/Facilitator for the 2026-27 school year.

Tinney was recognized for her work as a graduate of the MLDS process and well as her ability to provide effective leadership and guidance for developing school administrators. This position will begin in June, 2026.

As a Practitioner/Facilitator, Tinney will serve as a bridge between MLDS Specialists and regional principals participating in the Leadership Academy. She will work with the Leadership Academy while those administrators are in their three-year cohort and will work to deliver MLDS training materials.

She will also coordinate with other Central MLDS Specialists and the University of Central Missouri Educational Liaison to create, present and evaluate ongoing training materials.

Tinney is a graduate of Holden High School and has earned her bachelor’s degree from UMC and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia.   She earned her specialist’s degree from William Woods.

While at Cole Camp, Tinney has worked as a special education teacher and process coordinator, an assistant high school principal and began serving as the high school principal in 2025-26.

The daughter  of John and Leesa Brockhaus, Tinney shares four children with her husband Justin:  Leighton, Jace, Kyler and Macoy.
