Mississippi man hurt in Henry County accident

Colin A. Cobb, 20, of Purvis, Mississippi, suffered minor injuries at 5:30 a.m. Thursday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cobb was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry north on Missouri Route 13 near state Highway Z when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the roadway, over-corrected, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Cobb was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by a Golden Valley Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Impaired driver hurt in Johnson County crash

Jimmy Speakman, 35, of Bates City, suffered minor injuries at 11:16 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Speakman was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado east on U.S. Highway 50 when he traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right-half of the roadway resulting in an accident.Speakman was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Stafford woman injured in Morgan County crash

Jennifer D. Herron, of Stafford, suffered moderate injuries at 5:17 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Herron was driving a 2021 Kawasaki Teryx near Seals Road in Versailles and was traveling downhill when she overturned.

Herron was wearing a safety device and was transported to University of Missouri by MU Air Care.
