Four from Clinton hurt in Henry County crash

A 6-year-old boy, Gage D. Sweaney, 19, Cheyenne M. Fitzpatrick, 29, and Garylee R. O'Rourke, 44, all of Clinton, all received minor injuries at 5 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, O'Rourke was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander east on state Route 7 when he conducted a U-turn and pulled into the path of an unnamed vehicle, veered off the roadway and struck a concrete culvert.

Everyone was wearing seat belts except for Fitzpatrick, who was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by Golden Valley ambulance, as was the 6-year-old male. The others refused treatment on scene.

Eldon man injured in Morgan County accident

Wallace E. Wright, 72, of Eldon, suffered moderate injuries at 6:10 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wright was driving a 2011 Toyota Corolla west on Route C when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a sign, an embankment, and overturned.

Wright was wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City.

Sedalia man injured in Pettis County accident

Cheryl R. Ellison, 46, of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries at 10:47 a.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ellison was driving a 2003 Kia Sorento south on Highway 65 just south of Highway 52 when an unidentified vehicle pulled out in front of him. Ellison swerved to avoid the vehicle and traveled off the right side of the road, striking a sign and wood post.

Ellison was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Cole Camp Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Two from Nelson life-flighted after Saline County accident

An 8-year-old boy from Nelson suffered moderate injuries, and Brian E. Sullins, 41, of Nelson, suffered serious injuries at 5 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sullins was driving a 2006 Hyundai Tucson south on state Route 41 at Olympic Avenue when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, overturned and was ejected.

Though the boy was restrained, Sullins was not. Sullins was transported by Life Flight Eagle to University Hospital in Columbia.

Kansas man injured in I-70 accident

Jagdeep Singh, 23, of Gardner, Kansas, suffered moderate injuries at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Singh was driving a 2020 Kenworth T680 west on I-70 when he traveled off the right side of the road, struck a sign and overturned.

Singh was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.
