This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Feb. 1

10:43 p.m.: Lynnette D. Ehlers, 41, of the 2100 block of West Third Street, was arrested after an officer conducted a vehicle stop for an improperly displayed front registration plate on South State Fair Boulevard near North Woodlawn Drive. Ehlers was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Feb. 2

2:09 a.m.: Christian Ramos Ramos, 20, of the 1500 block of East Broadway Boulevard, was arrested after being observed near South New York Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard with expired registration plates. Ramos was intoxicated and was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, then the Pettis County Jail for driving while intoxicated-alcohol.

Feb. 11

7:55 p.m.: Elizabeth Ames Davis, 37, of the 1100 block of 11th Street, was arrested after a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration near East 11th Street and South Ingram Avenue. Davis had a revoked driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Feb. 14

12:32 p.m.: Chad H. Ezell, 49, of Warrensburg, was arrested after a vehicle stop near West 16th Street and South Missouri Avenue after a partially obscured temp tag returned not on file. The temp tag was forged and Ezell was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold for forgery.

Feb. 15

1:53 a.m.: Randy Loren Veeder, 47, was arrested after officers responded to a business in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard for a report of someone trespassing. Veeder was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a first-degree trespassing charge.
