This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
9:56 p.m.: Richard Pascual, 23, of the 500 block of North Grand Avenue, was arrested after officers observed a vehicle westbound on West Broadway Boulevard at South Limit Avenue with no headlights. Pascual had a suspended driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail for driving with a suspended license.
9:59 p.m.: Brock J. Howe, 21, of the 2000 block of 14th Street, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration at the intersection of 20th Street and Grand Avenue. Howe was released on scene with citations for driving without a license, no proof of insurance, and expired registration.
1:25 a.m.: Gary G. Brown Jr., 54, of the 1000 block of East Fourth Street, was arrested after a traffic stop on a non-street legal homemade motorized tricycle at West 32nd Street and South Stewart Avenue. Brown had a revoked driving status and was arrested and released on scene with a municipal citation.
2:10 p.m.: An officer took a report of a previous hit-and-run accident in the 1500 block of South Grand Avenue. They gathered suspect information.
