Mr. and Mrs. Kim Birdsong, of Sedalia, announce the engagement of their daughter Carly Birdsong to Ross Weimer. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Weimer, of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
The future bride is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and she has a masters degree from the University of Miami. She teaches kindergarten in Kansas City.
The future groom graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School and works as an associate attorney in Kansas City.
A June 2018 wedding is planned.
