A surprise 97th birthday luncheon and bridge party was hosted for Mary Jeanette Hurt on May 17 by her son Steven Hurt, Donna Ray and Batti Tharp. Sixteen guests attended the event hosted at Best Western State Fair Inn.
Mary received many birthday cards, floral arrangements, candy, monetary gifts, visits and phone calls during the week of her birthday.
