TIMBER FOR SALE
The Missouri Department of Conservation intends to sell forest products to companies and/or entities that have proper training. Accordingly, the Missouri Department of Conservation will only accept and enter into contracts in which the individual who is designated to sign timber sale contracts and the individual responsible for supervision of the logging have both successfully completed training, and maintained certification, pursuant to the MFPA Professional Timber Harvester Training, or its approved equivalent.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will accept bids on a timber sale located in the Lamine River Conservation Area, Compartment 1. The sale has an estimated 353,852 board feet of mixed hardwood sawtimber by the Doyle Tree Scale on 172 acres. The forest products are in Township 46 North, Range 19W, Section(s) 28 and 35 respectively in Cooper and Township 45 North, Range 18 West, Sections 6,7, & 18 in Morgan County, Missouri. A tour of the area will be conducted at 9:30am on Tuesday April 23, 2024 beginning at the Conservation Department's Lamine shop located at 4772 Coopers Loop, Otterville, MO 65348 . Prospective bidders or their representative may attend the tour to obtain a bid form. Attendees may only represent one bidder.
