The City of Sedalia will be closing the intersection of East 16th Street and South Ingram Avenue from 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 14.
The closure is to repair a failed stormwater pipe under the roadway. The utility work will be completed within the intersection resulting in its total closure from all directions. The work will consist of replacing the large storm pipe under the roadway and restoration of the asphalt roadway.
Travelers routinely using this intersection will need to find alternative routes and residents who park along the curb in the affected area will need to find alternate parking, either on side streets or off the alley, during this period.
This work is dependent on weather conditions and may be delayed due to rain.
