Bothwell Regional Health Center’s drive-thru COVID-19 testing location at the Missouri State Fairgrounds Sheep Pavilion will be changing the hours of operation effective immediately. Starting Feb. 25, the drive-thru COVID testing at the Sheep Pavilion will be open from 8 a.m. to noon only Monday and Wednesday. Testing will not be available at the Sheep Pavilion outside the new hours.
Testing will be available at the Bothwell Walk In Clinic. People with signs and symptoms of the virus should visit the clinic to be seen by a provider or call their provider’s office to discuss their symptoms. There will be no curbside testing at the Walk In Clinic. Clinic hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and the location is on the first floor of the Healing Arts Center at 3700 W. 10th St. in Sedalia.
Keith Morrow, Bothwell’s Vice President for Clinic Operations, said there are a number of factors for the decision to change the hours of operation of the drive-thru testing location including the fact that COVID-19 vaccination efforts continue to expand and the community has seen a positive decline in virus cases. He said if the number of cases increases again, the drive-through or curbside testing can be revisited.
Vaccine pre-registration can be done at www.brhc.org/vaccine. As vaccine allotments are announced, appointments will be scheduled for upcoming vaccine clinics to those who have filled out the pre-registration form. All vaccines will be given by appointment only.
