Brown joins Dull Law, LLC as attorney

The law offices of Dull Law, LLC has announced an addition to the law firm.  

Attorney Derek Brown started with its offices on Sep. 1

Brown grew up at the Lake of the Ozarks and graduated from Camdenton High School in 2005. He continued his education at Drury University where he graduated with honors in 2009, receiving a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. While at Drury University,. Brown was a member of the Drury University Bass Fishing Team and fished in bass fishing tournaments across the country.

 Brown attended law school at the University of Tulsa College of Law and University of Missouri School of Law, and he was admitted to the Missouri Bar in October of 2013. 

Brown began his practice in Camdenton, Missouri at Deputy and Mizell, L.L.C. where he handled a wide variety of cases, including Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income claims, criminal defense, domestic and landlord/tenant cases.  In 13 years of practice, 

Brown has tried over 1,000 Social Security cases at hearing offices across the State of Missouri. Derek had a former happy client once say “Disability claim turned down? Call Brown,, and that has been his slogan ever since.

Brown looks forward to expanding his practice and working with his lifelong friends, attorneys Jeff Dull and Gable Dull.

Brown lives on a family farm in Lowry City with his wife Kyla and his twins, Will and Ada. His wife, Kyla, is a teacher at Lakeland R-III School District.  He enjoys spending his free time fishing, hunting and traveling with his family. 

Dull Law LLC has offices in Clinton, Warsaw, and Sedalia, and the firm handles a wide variety of legal matters including personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal defense, family law and divorce, probate matters, estate planning, real estate matters, social security disability, and general civil law disputes.
