Arrests

Sept 30

2:18 a.m.: Sarah D. McAteer, 36, was arrested after officers were dispatched to three dogs chasing a person near East 11th Street and South Summit Avenue. One dog attacked an officer who discharged his firearm at the dog who ran away and was secured inside a fence. Summons were issued to the owner for animals biting persons and animals running at large. 

9:23 p.m.: Makala Marie Lawyer, 29, was arrested after officers responded to Bothwell for an animal abandoned by its owner. Lawyer was identified, located and issued a municipal citation for animal abandonment. 

Incidents

Sept 28

3:27 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a property damage report in the Sedalia Police Department lobby from the 900 block of South Mitchell Road. The victim estimated the damage at $2,000. 

3:57 p.m.: Officers respond to the 3500 block of Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. 

Sept 29

1:32 p.m.: Officers responded to a vandalism report in the 300 block of South Ohio Avenue. 

Sept 30

2:35 a.m.: Officers responded to the 500 block of South Osage Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Information was gathered from both parties and a 12-hour log was completed.

Arrests

Sept 26

10:42 p.m.: Quinton X. Faught, 18, of Clinton was arrested in Henry County for driving while intoxicated and a Henry County misdemeanor warrant. He was transported to the Henry County Jail. 

Sept 29

9:54 p.m. Ty D. Broman-Barron, 24, of Lowry City was arrested in Henry County for driving while intoxicated. He was released.
