The Buck Family benefit lunch and live auction is in honor of a just-retired teacher at Morgan County R-1 School District who taught for 23 years and impacted the lives of many students and people in area communities. She was a volunteer at her church and youth group. She always reached out to anyone in need. Unfortunately, she battled COVID for three weeks in the ICU and died Sept. 2. She was a single mom and has left behind two daughters.
The Buck Family Benefit will be hosted Saturday, Oct. 30 in the Stover High School gym and cafeteria. There will be a goodwill chili and soup lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The live auction will begin at 1:30 p.m. Proceeds will be given to her daughters.
