Care Connection for Aging Services invites the community to support the Sedalia Senior Center through two special fundraising events taking place in July.
The first fundraiser will be a Too Hot to Cook BBQ dinner on Wednesday, July 16, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Sedalia Senior Center.
The center is located at 1800 W. 3rd St. inside the Heckart Community Center. This event will be in Community Rooms A&B and will also include a punch wall with prizes.
Community members are invited to enjoy a delicious meal while helping raise funds to support programs and services for older adults. Meal includes a hot dog, chips, cookie and a drink for $8.
The second fundraiser will take place at Chipotle in Sedalia on Monday, July 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Chipotle is located at 4111 W Broadway Blvd. in Sedalia. During the event, 25% of sales will be donated to the Sedalia Senior Center when customers present the fundraiser flyer at checkout.
Flyers are available on the Sedalia Senior Center’s Facebook page or at the center. Those ordering online for pickup can participate from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. can participate by entering the fundraiser code WLVJTNT at checkout. Funds raised through these events will help the Sedalia Senior Center provide meals, activities, and services that help older adults remain healthy, connected, and engaged in their community.
