Oklahoma woman hurt in Benton crash
A Coweta, Oklahoma, woman suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 4:10 p.m. Sunday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Heather M. Randall, 41, was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima on state Route 83 south of Branch Avenue when she traveled off the right side of the road and her vehicle struck a mailbox. She then overcorrected to the left, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the road and impact an embankment.
Randall and an uninjured 13-year-old were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Both occupants were wearing a seat belt.
Morgan two-vehicle crash injures two men
Charles C. Mounts, 78, of Gravois Mills, and Mark C. Anderson, 50, of Versailles, were left with moderate injuries in an accident Friday at 8:15 a.m. in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred as Mounts was driving east in a 2012 Dodge Ram at MO 5 at Route J and turned into the path of Anderson's 1995 Ford F150, which was southbound.
Mounts, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to University Hospital in Columbia. Anderson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Sedalia man receives serious injuries in ATV accident
Gary E. Brandes, 65, of Sedalia, was seriously injured at 3:17 p.m. Sunday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandes was driving a 2020 Coleman go-kart west on Springfork Road east of Rod and Gun Club Road and was following a 2003 Yamaha Bear Tracker driven by Joshua L. Brandes, 30, of Sedalia. When the Tracker became disabled in the roadway it was rear-ended by the go-kart, ejecting Gary Brandes and his passenger, a 6-year-old male.
No one was wearing a seat belt.
Gary Brandes was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia. The other two, who received minor injuries, were treated at the scene.
Aurora man injured in Pettus accident
Ryan I. Cairel, 33, of Aurora, received moderate injuries at 7:30 a.m. Saturday in a Pettis County crash.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cairel was driving east in a 2006 Mercury Milan on Route M east of Route V when he traveled off the left side of the road and his vehicle struck a signpost, a field entrance driveway, and became airborne. His vehicle came to rest facing northwest with its front end up on a large bale of hay.
He was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
Smithton man injured in Pettis accident
Matthew L. Spencer, 44, of Smithton, received moderate injuries at 4:45 p.m. Friday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Spencer lost control of his 2013 Harley-Davidson while traveling west on U.S. 50 at Route O. Although Spencer was wearing a seat belt, he was ejected from the motorcycle.
Spencer was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Iowa man receives minor injuries in Saline crash
Michael P. Vilmain, 66, of Des Moines, Iowa, received minor injuries at 3:40 p.m. Friday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Vilmain was driving east on Interstate 70 at the 77-mile marker in a 2002 Toyota 4Runner when he was rear-ended by 1997 an eastbound 1997 Peterbilt driven by Archie W. Miller, 59, of Ranshaw, Pennsylvania. This caused Vilmain's 4Runner to strike the rear of a 2015 Ford F150 driven by Michael A. Powell, 42, of Ottawa, Kansas.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts.
Vilmain was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
