Osage Beach man in serious condition after scooter accident
Richard A. Scharlott, 50, of Osage Beach, sustained serious injuries at 12:40 p.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Scharlott was northbound on private property near Highway 135 in Versailles on a 2020 Zhejiang Huaw when he jumped from the vehicle and incurred injuries.
He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
