Warsaw man killed in Benton crash
George M. Cecil, 45, of Warsaw, was killed Tuesday at 7:08 p.m. in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cecil was driving north in a 2011 Ford Fusion on state Route MM east of Paradise Drive when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck the ditch before overturning and ejecting him.
Cecil, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead by Coroner Weston Miller.
Holden man killed in Johnson motorcycle accident
Samuel M. Chapman, 58, of Holden, was killed Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Chapman was riding south on state Route U south of County Road SW 250th on a 2012 Harley-Davidson when the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch, ejecting the rider.
Chapman was pronounced dead by Dr. Brigg.
