Cole Camp teen injured in Benton accident
A 17-year-old male from Cole Camp sustained moderate injuries at 9 p.m. Thursday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2004 Ford F250 south on state Route F, south of Seven Hills Road, when he swerved to avoid a deer and ran off the right side of the roadway striking a tree. He was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Warsaw Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Medical Center.
Sweet Springs woman in serious condition after Pettis accident
Kylie L. Hedgepeth, 19, of Sweet Springs, sustained serious injuries at 11:18 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Dodge Durango driven by Maria D. Cerritos Llanos, 62, of Sedalia was headed south on Whitfield Road at Dorrance Drive and pulled into the path of a 2012 Jeep Liberty driven by Hedgepeth.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Hedgepath was transported by Pettis County ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Medical Center.
