Pedestrian injured after being struck with tractor
A man was seriously injured after a tractor struck him at 4:34 p.m. Monday around Northwest 600th Road in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Arron K. Guengerish, 38, of Holden, was standing next to a tractor performing maintenance when he started the tractor and released the clutch not knowing it was in gear. The tractor struck Guengerish before coming to rest in a pond.
Guengerich suffered serious injuries and was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight.
