Clinton woman hurt in Johnson accident

Kaola C. Rickey, 60, of Clinton, sustained minor injuries at 3:57 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Rickey was driving a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country north on Route W when she slowed for a slow-moving vehicle and was rear-ended by a 1996 Ford F350 driven by a 17-year-old male from Green Ridge.

Rickey was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton. 

Two women in serious condition after Johnson County crash 

Brandi K. Hall, 53, of Holden, and Debra J. Bradfield, 63, of Centerview, both sustained serious injuries at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bradfield was driving a 1999 Chevrolet van east on ROute 58 south of Route VV when she traveled off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail. Her vehicle returned to the roadway, crossed the center of the roadway, and struck a westbound 2018 Dodge Journey driven by Hall.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Hall was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Bradfield was transported by Air Flight to St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
