Three hurt in Benton County intoxicated driving accident
Amy N. Skinner, 39, of Osceola, sustained serious injuries, and Brently Skinner, unknown age, of Osceola, and John R. Vogel, 61, of Warsaw, both sustained minor injuries at 4:30 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Cadillac Catera driven by Amy Skinner south on U.S. Highway 65 at Route BB traveled into the path of a 2002 Toyota Camry driven north by Vogel.
Amy Skinner was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center and then flown to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Vogel and Brently Skinner were wearing seat belts and were transported to Bothwell.
Amy Skinner was arrested for driving while intoxicated and released for medical care.
