Teen hurt in Johnson wreck
A Harrisonville teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 2:10 p.m. Sunday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Leanna E. Weaver, 17, was driving south on Southwest 1621st Road, 90 feet north of Southwest 25th Road, when her vehicle traveled off the road, struck a concrete culvert and overturned.
Weaver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence with minor injuries.
