Versailles woman killed in Morgan crash
A Versailles woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 4:10 p.m. Monday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandon A. Guillen, 19, of Camdenton, was driving south on state Route 5, just north of Indigo Road, as Angela M. Decker, 43, of Versailles, was driving north. Guillen began to pass another vehicle. Then Guillen and Decker’s vehicles swerved to the east shoulder and struck head-on.
Decker’s daughter, 22-year-old Tamara J. Deroo, was pronounced dead by Morgan County Coroner Marion Jones.
Guillen and Decker both suffered serious injuries and were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Reports indicate Deroo and Decker were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident but it is unknown if Guillen was wearing one.
