Impaired driver arrested after Johnson County pile-up

Macy L. Perrine, 28, of Centerview, was arrested after an injury accident where she and another driver were injured at 6:14 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Perrine was driving a 2001 Hyundai south on state Route 13 when she overtook and struck the rear of a 2011 Subaru driven by Carolyn D. Collins, 28, of Warrensburg, who then overtook and struck the rear of a 2008 Chevrolet driven by McKenna l. Siegfried, 21, of Wheaton.

It is unknown if Perrine and Collins were wearing seat belts; Siegfried was.

Perrine, who sustained moderate injuries, and Collins, who sustained minor injuries, were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Perrine was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), driving while intoxicated - drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holden man seriously injured in Johnson County accident

Richard C. Sechrest, 41, of Holden, sustained serious injuries at 7:20 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sechrest was driving a 2009 Ford east on SW 700 Road when he traveled off the roadway. His vehicle struck a ditch, overturned, and then struck a fence.

It is unknown if Sechrest was wearing a seat belt. He was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Two hurt in Saline County accident

Vicki A. Sauble, 72, of Marshall, suffered moderate injuries and Brandon S. Smith, 44, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries at 1:39 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sauble was driving a 2008 Subaru Forester north on state Route 240 at state Route 41 when she failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven west by Smith.

Smith's Chevrolet overturned twice before coming to rest. He was wearing a seat belt and refused treatment on scene.

Sauble was also wearing a seat belt and was transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
