Travis R. Beavers, 40, of Leeton, sustained moderate injuries at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, June 9 in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Beavers was driving a 2021 Toyota north on Northeast 231st Road when he swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway. He traveled off the road, down an embankment and struck a ditch.
It is unknown if Beavers was wearing a seat belt. He was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by ambulance.
Paul C. Mosley, 47, of California, Missouri, suffered modern injuries at 6:53 p.m. Sunday, June 9 in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mosley was driving a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja north on Route 87 when he struck loose gravel and lost control.
He was wearing a helmet and was transported by the Mid-MO Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.
Shawna R. Dye, 36, of Albany, was killed and Jacob W. Dye, 37, of Albany, sustained moderate injuries at 6:15 p.m. Friday, June 7 in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jacob Dye was driving a 2023 Polaris RZR north on the loop off Road Park and was climbing a hill when he lost traction. The vehicle rolled down the hill, ejecting the driver and occupant, who were not wearing seat belts.
Shawna Dye was pronounced dead by paramedic T. Higgins at the scene. Jacob Dye was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
A 15-year-old girl and Jeremiah M. Burton, 47, both of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries at 9:40 a.m. Friday, June 7 in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the juvenile was driving a 2015 Ford Mustang west on U.S. Highway 50 at Route TT when she entered the intersection of U.S. 50 and failed to yield to an eastbound 2022 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Gary L. Gottensburen, 46, of Pleasant Hill. The Freightliner struck the Mustang on the left side and both vehicles traveled off the north side of U.S. 50.
The teen was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by the Pettis County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia. Burton was wearing a seat belt, and was also transported to University Hospital.
James B. Jones, 36, of Marshall, suffered minor injuries at 4:55 p.m. Friday, June 7 in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cooper P. Pennock, 18, of Marshall, was driving a 1991 GMC SC2 south on Highway H when he traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
Jones, an occupant in the vehicle, was transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Neither Jones nor Pennock was wearing a seat belt.
