Two hurt in Johnson County accident
Spencer Q Valde, 29, of Whiteman Air Force Base, and Brittany L. Schneider, 30, of Warrensburg, both sustained minor injuries at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Subaru Forester driven by Schneider east on Route DD at Route 23 was stopped at the intersection to turn and was struck in the rear by a 2007 Mazda 6 driven by Valde.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and sought treatment by private vehicle at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
