Warsaw man seriously injured in motorcycle crash

Dennis E. Black, 71, of Warsaw, was seriously injured at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County motorcycle accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Black was driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail south on Highway 7 when he turned into the path of a northbound 2020 Lincoln Nautilus driven by Donna R. Sumner, 58, of Peculiar.

Sumner was wearing a seat belt. Black was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight air ambulance.

Lexington motorcyclist seriously injured in accident

Robert H. Wheeldon, 59, of Lexington, sustained serious injuries at 10:05 a.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wheeldon was driving a red Harley Davidson south on Route 13 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway. His vehicle struck a ditch and overturned.

He was wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Centerview woman hurt in Johnson County accident

Kelsey A. Beaver, 34, of Centerview, sustained minor injuries at 10:50 a.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Beaver was driving a 2022 Kia Telluride west on U.S. Highway 50 and was slowing to make a left turn into the crossover when she was overtaken and struck by a 2005 Ford F150 driven by Christopher A. Hunter, 30, of Harrisonville.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Beaver was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Two from Versailles hurt in Morgan crash

Theresa M. Delisle, 47, and Nicholas W. Delisle, 22, both of Versailles, sustained minor injuries at 12:43 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Donald D. Delisle, 55, of Versailles, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze south on state Route 5. There was an unknown vehicle in between the Chevrolet Cruze and a 2008 Cadillac XTS driven by Lori S. Wessing, 52, of Pilot Grove. The Cruze began to slow in preparation to make a left turn. The unknown vehicle passed the Cruze and the Cadillac struck the rear of the Cruze.

Everyone was wearing seat belts. The Delisles were transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

Two men arrested for DWI after Morgan County accident

Reed R. Harms, 29, of Stover, sustained moderate injuries at 11:30 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Harms was an occupant in a 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven by Michael K. Ehren, 45, of Eldon, on Highway FF when he made a turn. Harms was ejected.

He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Morgan County Ambulance District.

Harms was arrested for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash.

Ehren was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated involving serious injury, no insurance, and failure to register a vehicle.

17-year-old girl hurt in Pettis accident

A 17-year-old girl from Versailles sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 10:05 p.m. Saturday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 17-year-old was driving a 2013 Toyota Camry south on Route M south of Whiteman Road when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and spin across Whiteman Road where it struck a MoDOT sign and overturned in a small group of trees.

The teen was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Cole Camp Ambulance District.
