Two hurt in Benton County collision

James Creighton, 75, of Warrensburg, and Dandace Coder, 75, of Kimberling City, suffered minor injuries at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Coder was driving a 2020 Ford Edge south on U.S. Highway 65 when Creighton, who was driving a westbound 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, attempted to cross U.S. 65 and pulled into Coder’s path.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Creighton was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center and Coder was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by ambulance.

Warsaw woman seriously injured in Benton County rollover

Michelle L. George, 53, of Warsaw, suffered serious injuries, and Thomas G. Starforth, 48, of Osceola, suffered minor injuries at 6:35 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Starforth was driving a 1999 Ford F-150 south on Route 83 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.

Neither driver was wearing a safety device. Starforth refused treatment and George was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight.

Holden motorcyclist injured in Johnson County accident

Adrian M. Hirst, 33, of Holden, suffered moderate injuries at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hirst was driving a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 650 east on Route 58 at Highway F when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and his vehicle overturned.

Hirst was wearing a helmet and was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Rayville motorcyclist hospitalized after Morgan County crash

Paul E. Decker, 60, of Rayville, suffered moderate injuries at 5:15 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Decker was driving a 2012 Harley-Davidson Street Glide north on Ivy Bend Road when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and his vehicle overturned.

Decker was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
