Chelsea L. Lewis, 18, of Lynn Creek, suffered moderate injuries at 12:15 a.m. Thursday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a 2007 Ford F150 driven west on Lone Star Road by Dylan D. Mallonee, 29, of Warsaw, traveled off the right side of the road, striking a 2010 Chevrolet Impala driven south by Lewis.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Louis was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.
Morgan A. Gatschet, 21, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gatschet was driving a 2016 Ford Edge east on U.S. Highway 50 when she traveled off the left side of the road, across the median and into westbound lanes. The vehicle then traveled off the north side of the roadway and overturned. Cassie E. Hodges, 39, of Lee's Summit, was driving a westbound 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and attempted to avoid the Ford but traveled off the right side of the road. Hodges’ vehicle hit the guardrail and came to rest on its side.
Gatschet was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
