Versailles man hurt in Moniteau accident
David E. Perkins, 65, of Versailles, sustained minor injuries at 6:10 p.m. Monday in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Perkins was driving a 2021 Ford Ranger east on Route C near Pine Road when he struck a deer and then traveled off the right side of the roadway.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.
