Samantha K. Dobnikar, 32, of Warsaw, sustained serious injuries at 10:12 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Darren N. Stokes, 44, of Marshall, was northbound on U.S. Highway 65 south of Highway BB when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned, and came to rest on its side.
Stokes was wearing a seat belt. Dobnikar was not and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
