Hannibal woman injured after being hit on hoverboard

Jeneta L. Drebs, 36, of Hannibal, sustained serious injuries at 7:45 a.m. Friday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Marlene R. Lenger, 59, of Tipton, was stopped at a sign on Osage Street and a hoverboard operated by Drebs was westbound on the sidewalk south of Morgan Street. It traveled into the intersection as the Grand Cherokee proceeded forward from the stop sign and the front of the vehicle traveled over the hoverboard and driver.

Mid-MO Ambulance District transported Drebs to University Hospital in Columbia.

Warrensburg woman hurt in Johnson County accident

Wan Peng, 47, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries at 3:40 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Toyota Camry driven east by Jeannie McNall, 74, of Warrensburg, failed to yield to a 1990 Freightliner driven south on Highway 13 by Clint T. Pointer, 21, of Tunas. After the vehicles came to rest, McNall backed into a 2013 Toyota Sequoia driven by Michael L. Maxwell, 51, of Boonville.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Peng, an occupant in the Camry, was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Holden teen injured in impaired driving accident

Wyatt L. Holt, 18, of Holden, sustained moderate injuries at 4:45 a.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Holt was driving a 2002 Jeep Wrangler west on state Route 2 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway. His vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

Holt was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Holt was arrested for felony leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, drinking while driving, and no seat belt. He was released for medical care.

Cole Camp driver hurt in impaired driving incident

Emri L. Williamson, 31, of Cole Camp, suffered minor injuries at 5:55 p.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Williamson was driving a 1995 Buick west on Lange Road west of Triangle Avenue when he crossed the center of the roadway and overcorrected. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence.

Williamson was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia for precautions.

He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and released for care.

Child killed in Pettis UTV accident

A 4-year-old boy from Sedalia was killed, and a 3-year-old boy, a 6-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl, all of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries at 4:33 p.m. Sunday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, April M. Headley, 34, of Sedalia, was driving a 2022 Can-Am UTV north in the 25000 block of Liberty School Road. She was traveling through a yard and made a sharp left turn, which caused the vehicle to overturn, partially ejecting the 4-year-old passenger.

The 4-year-old was pronounced deceased by paramedic Donnie Moorhead on scene.

Headley and the 4-year-old were wearing seat belts; no one else was. The injured children were transported by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Sedalia man hurt in Saline accident

Evan C. Bankovich, 29, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries at 6:35 a.m. Monday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bankovich was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla west on I-70 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway. His vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
