Calhoun man hurt in Henry County accident

Winston D. Thomas, 53, of Calhoun, suffered minor injuries at 9:40 a.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Calhoun was driving a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 north on Route J when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck two trees and a fence.

Thomas was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Houston driver hurt after hydroplaning in Henry County

Kenneth L. Crumbley, 63, of Houston, suffered minor injuries at 6:25 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Crumbley was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 south on state Route 7 when his vehicle hydroplaned, crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

Crumbley was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Four hurt in Johnson County wreck

A 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, both of Centerview, suffered minor injuries, and Dawn R. Lange, 33, of Centerview, and Gabrial L. Terry, 36, of Leeton, suffered moderate injuries at 6:20 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Terry north on Route F at 1000th Road failed to slow for a sharp curve in the roadway, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.

Everyone was wearing seat belts. The teens were treated on scene and released to family. Lange was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Terry was transported by JCAD to Research Medical in Kansas City.

Warrensburg woman injured in Johnson County accident

Lilia D. Dempsey, 23, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries at 7:50 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dempsey was driving a 2007 Chevrolet HHR south on state Route 13 as she passed a stalled motorist off the right half of the roadway and crossed the centerline, sideswiping a 2019 GMC Canyon driven by Douglas E. Smithson, 55, of Kingsville.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Dempsey was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Three injured in Johnson County accident

A 16-year-old girl from Warrensburg and Derresha C. McKenzie, 18, of Whiteman Air Force Base, suffered moderate injuries, and Megan K. Agler, 22, of Knob Noster, suffered serious injuries at 6:15 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 16-year-old was driving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee south on state Route 23 at Spirit Boulevard when she attempted to turn and traveled into the path of a northbound 1992 Chevrolet 4C pickup driven by Aleksey V. Lyle, 25, of Knob Noster.

All three injured people were wearing seat belts and were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Kansas City man injured in Morgan County ATV accident

Kent H. Garrett, 61, of Kansas City, suffered moderate injuries at 11:53 a.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Garrett was driving a 2018 Honda TRX 500 south near Highway 135 when he traveled up a hill, causing the vehicle to overturn and eject him.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia via MU Air Care.

Four in serious condition after Morgan County head-on accident

Christopher L. Black, 48; Melinda R. Black, 53; and Machele M. Sandvig, 56, all of Versailles, and Keith E O'Rourke, 87, of Stover, all suffered serious injuries at 5:40 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Christopher Black was driving south in a 2010 GMC Terrain driven on state Route 13 when he crossed the centerline and struck a 1999 Ford F150 driven north by O'Rourke.

Only Black was not wearing a seat belt. The injured were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Cole Camp woman hurt in Morgan County mishap

Tracy A. Ritter, 56, of Cole Camp, suffered minor injuries at 2:40 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an unknown vehicle was traveling north in the southbound lane of travel and Ritter, who was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 south on Route FF, took evasive action to avoid the vehicle and traveled off the right side of the roadway. Her vehicle returned to the roadway and again traveled off the right side of the roadway.

Ritter was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
